These are some preliminary versions of notes on geometry. Use with care!

Any course on geometry requires some preliminaries on Calculus for which I have some notes in the form of exercises. These notes are available as source in gzipped TeX with figures in MetaPost; or directly viewable as gzipped PDF.

Where can we start but with some notes on Euclidean Geometry? These notes are available as source in tar-gzipped TeX with figures in Postscript; or directly viewable as gzipped PDF.

I gave a course introducing differential geometry during the Mathematics Teaching and Talent Search programme in 1998 where some notes were distributed. These notes are available as source in tar-gzipped TeX with figures in Postscript format; or directly viewable as gzipped PDF.

At the end of a calculus course, I like to introduce some physics. The part beyond Netwon's laws consists of the study of the Asymmetric Top. Notes are available as HTML and PDF; as usual TeX source is also available.

A course on Commutative Algebra for Algebraic Geometers.

Just for fun here is a gnuplot source file to create the trefoil knot that you see can as the backdrop to my home page.

There has been some interest in drawings of Borromean rings. Along with Parameswaran Sankaran and T. R. Govindarajan, I sent a proposal to make a logo for IMSc based on them.

A set of notes from a course on Algebraic Geometry at IIT Powai under the AIS scheme.

Some notes of a talk I gave at IIT Kanpur on the work of Mikhail Gromov after he won the Abel Prize.
