One position of Postdoctoral Fellow (PDF) under the J C Bose Fellowship Research grant

Project Title: PDF (JCB33) at the Department of Biological Sciences, IISER Mohali

Position  :       Postdoctoral Fellow (1)

Duration:       One year

Emoluments: Rs.36,000/-p.m.+HRA as per rules. Applicants with PhD and additional research   experience will be considered for enhanced fellowship.

                        Selected person will be conducting research in mathematical and computational     modelling of biological systems.           .

Eligibility: PhD and M.Tech. degree holders, who have completed their course in the past two years in any area of theoretical science such as, Theoretical Biology, Physics, Biomathematics, Biostatistics, Computer Sciences, Chemical Engineering, etc., with research papers in relevant area journals - may only apply. Experience of working with Mathematical and Statistical software (MATLAB, MATHEMATICA, R, XPPAUT, etc) on Unix/Linux OS is preferred.  

The above-mentioned criteria are basic and indicative only. Short-listing of applicants will be made based on their recent resume and proof of expertise.
