One position of Project Assistant (PA) under Centre for Protein Design and Engineering (MHRD COE-FAST)
Project Title: PA (Theory): Centre for Protein Science, Design and Engineering (CPSDE, MHRD-COE-) at the Department of Biological Sciences, IISER Mohali
Position : Project Assistant (1)
Duration: One year (extendable up to two years based on performance with salary enhancement as per rules)
Emoluments: Rs.14,000/-p.m.+HRA as per rules. CSIR-Net qualified applicants will be considered for enhanced fellowship.
Selected person will be conducting research in protein structure analysis using network theory and molecular dynamics simulations.
Eligibility: M.Sc./B.Tech./M.Tech, who have completed their course in the past two years in any discipline in Engineering and Science (including Statistics, Computer Science, Bioinformatics and Biotechnology) with grades 80% and above, and having excellent programming skills. Experience in working on Unix/Linux OS is preferred. Experience with software like MATLAB, R, GROMACS, etc. is required.
The above-mentioned criteria are basic and indicative only. Short-listing of applicants will be made based on their recent resume and proof of expertise.
