Title: Mechanotransduction by non-classical cadherins
This project aims to understand the feedback mechanism of cell-adhesion junction mediated by non-classical cadherins in response to detaching or tensile force. Using barrage of biophysical techniques and in-sillico analysis, we plan to explore the molecular identities responsible for the maintenance of cell-adhesion junction.

Essential Qualifications:
The applicants should hold a PhD or already submitted PhD thesis, and have a strong training in molecular biology and biophysics. Working experience with SAXS on macromolecules along with molecular modelling are must. It is also essential that the candidates have strong publication history in international journal.
