Walk-in interview for the post of an RA under an SERB project

Title of the project: “High Field Magneto-Transport & Spectroscopic Studies on Topologically Non-Trivial Systems at Sub-kelvin Temperatures”.

Period: 1 year (can be extended up to 3 years).

Emoluments: As per DST rules.

Essential qualifications/experience:

(a) PhD in physics or MTech in Science/Engineering  with experience of doing experiments at low temperatures (liquid helium temperatures).

(b) Good computer programming skills.

(c) Good writing skills in English.

The candidates must bring the following documents with them on the day of interview:

1. Original certificates confirming academic qualifications.

2. A photo copy of CV.

3. Three recommendation letters in sealed envelopes.

4. A research proposal (2000 words).

Date of interview: January 2, 2017

Place of interview: AB-1, IISER Mohali. The candidates must report at room no. 1F3 before  2PM.
