Title of the project: Mechanobiology
Benefits: The selected candidate will have exposure to state-of the art analytical techniques, like total internal fluorescence microscope, atomic force microscope, analytical ultracentrifugation etc under guidance.
Position(s): 01 (One)
Duration: One year (Extended up to 3 years)
Emoluments: As per MHRD RA Fellowship rules
Essential Qualifications: PhD in Biophysics with working experience in protein science
The candidate must be strongly motivated to work on the high-end optical and scanning probe microscopy based single molecule instrumentation and their applications in biophysical problems. Candidate will be asked to work on protein expression, purification and engineering. Having previous research experience on PCR and several biophysical techniques, like CD, ITC, Stopped-flow etc. are must.
A good communication skill in English and computer skill is highly desired.
The candidate will be expected to aid in grant and manuscript writing and collaborate with other projects in the lab.
