Walk-in/Skype interview on December 3rd , 2015 at 10:30 AM for one Project Assistant position under CPSDE (MHRD CoE-FAST) funding by Department of Science and Technology, India

Title of the project:Understanding the protein-protein recognition events using single molecule FRET

 Benefits: The selected candidate will have exposure to molecular biology and state-of the art analytical techniques, like total internal fluorescence microscope and atomic force microscope under guidance.

 Position(s): 01 (One)

 Duration:Minimum one year

 Emoluments:As per MHRD Fellowship rules

 Date of Joining: 15/12/2015

 Essential Qualifications:

 1: M.Sc. or MS in Biological Sciences. Previous experience in Protein expression and purification is plus.

 Candidate will be asked to work on protein expression, purification and engineering under guidance. Having previous  research experience on microscopes will be a plus. The candidate must be strongly motivated to work with the high-end  optical and scanning probe microscopes for studying biophysical problems.

 A good communication skill in English and computer skill is highly desired.

 The candidate will be expected to aid in grant and manuscript writing and collaborate with other projects in the lab.
