Walk-in/Skype interview on June 18th , 2015 at 10:00 AM for one Post-doctoral Research Associate position (RA) under CPSDE (MHRD CoE-FAST) funding by Department of Science and Technology, India
Title of the project: Understanding the protein-protein recognition events using single molecule 3-color FRET
Benefits: The selected candidate will have exposure to state-of the art analytical techniques, like total internal fluorescence microscope, atomic force microscope, analytical ultracentrifugation etc under guidance.

Duration: Minimum Two Years
Emoluments: As per MHRD RA Fellowship rules
Essential Qualifications:PhD in Optics / Single Molecule Spectroscopy.
The candidate must be strongly motivated to work on the high-end optical and scanning probe microscopy based single molecule instrumentation and their applications in biophysical problems. Candidate will be asked to work on Instrumentation and automation as well as protein expression, purification and engineering.
A good communication skill in English and computer skill is highly desired. Experience in Matlab, Python and Labview is plus.
The candidate will be expected to aid in grant and manuscript writing and collaborate with other projects in the lab.
