Applications are invited from Indian Nationals to work as a postdoctoral Research Associate (RA) in a research project funded by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR).

 

Title: Investigating the role of a novel regulator, MarB, in the regulation of the chromosomally encoded multiple antibiotic resistance (Mar) in enteric bacteria

 

Positions: 1

Duration:  1 year (extendable to a maximum of 3 years)

The position is purely temporary and co-terminates with the scheme.

 

Essential Qualifications: Ph.D. in any discipline with good academic record and experience in microbiology, molecular biology, and biochemistry as evident from publications. Experience in bacterial genetics and physiology will be preferred. Those who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis are also eligible to apply.
