We are looking for a research assistant for a project funded by INSA entitled ‘ Advent and growth of modern science awareness and education in colonial India’.

The research assistant will assist the Principal Investigator with library and archival research.

Essential qualifications:  The candidate should have at least a bachelor’s degree, and experience/ training in archival research. A post-graduate degree  (MA or M.Phil) with some research experience will be preferable. 

Candidates will have to appear for an interview in person.

Walk-in interview will be held on 6 Aug 2014 (Wed)  10AM  in Room 4 F1 in the Academic Block, IISER Mohali ( Sector 81, next to Indian School of Business).  Interested candidates are required to send in their CV by email and confirm their attendance prior to the interview. Please bring with you your documents including hard copy of your cv.

The appointment carries a monthly honorarium of Rs 10000/- and will terminate on 31

March 2015.
