Walk in interview for Project Assistant (PA) in a chemistry research project funded by UGC-Israel Research Foundation

IISER-Mohali (Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences) desires to engage a PROJECT ASSISTANT on purely temporary basis on contract under the UGC-Israel sponsored research project at IISER-Mohali.

Name of Position: Project Assistant

Essential Qualification: MSc or MTech in Chemistry /Physics / Environmental Science/ Atmospheric science/Maths/Biology or B. Tech in any branch of Engineering. Prior experience/hands-on training in field work, analytical instruments for measurements of VOCs and Criegee intermediate chemistry in ambient air, as well as theoretical background in atmospheric chemistry/ air quality analyses of gaseous pollutants are desirable.

Emoluments: As per UGC Rules.

Duration: Initially for 1 year and extendable subject for up to 2 additional years subject to satisfactory performance
