We are looking for a Research Assistant for a project funded by the Indian National Science Academy.

We are looking for a research assistant for a project funded by INSA entitled “Tryst with Destiny: Social and Intellectual History of Scientific Temper in India.”

The grant is for researching and writing a book on the idea of “scientific temper” in post-Independence India.  The research assistant will help with library and archival research.

Essential qualifications:  The suitable candidate should have some background in Indian history and philosophy.  The candidate must have some experience in archival research.  

A minimum of BA in any social science discipline (history, philosophy, literature) is required.  A  post-graduate degree  (MA or M.Phil) with some research experience will be preferable.  Candidates will have to appear for an interview in person.

Walk-in interview will be held on Monday, March 3 at 10 am in Room 4 F1 in the Academic Block, IISER Mohali.  Interested candidates are required to send in their CVs and confirm their attendance prior to the interview.
