- Dr. Rajib Kr Nandi, received best Poster Award in NPDF online poster competition 2017-18, jointly organized by American Chemical Society via ACS Publications and Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), India. The award ceremony "1st Conclave of SERB NPDF Awardees" was held at NIPGR, New Delhi on July 25, 2018.
- Indu Verma, Joydip De and Indu Bala attended the 27th International Liquid Crystal Conference (ILCC 2018) at Kyoto International Conference Centre, Kyoto, Japan.

Dr. Santanu Pal and group members attended 23rd National Conference on Liquid Crystals (NCLC-2016). The conference was held in IIT (ISM) Dhanbad (Jharkhand) from 7th to 9th December 2016. Ms. Vidhika Punjani won the best poster award at the conference.

Monika Gupta attended the 4th International Soft Matter Conference (ISMC 2016) at Grenoble, France. She was also awarded The International Union of Crystallography (IUCr) Young Scientist Award at the conference.
